The Majickal Garden
*I purchased tomato, sweet pepper, and strawberry growing kits at Wal*Mart for $1.99 each. I am planning on planting these with my nephew in the spring.
My stepfather built me a nice, new porch this past summer. I hope to put some planters on it next spring. Berries and short growing herbs would grow well in them.
I will also be purchasing more large planters to grow some container gardening in. I plan on doing something like this:
Containers # 1 & 2:
zuchinni
romaine lettuce
carrots
Containers # 3 & 4:
tomatoe
another type of lettuce
early carrots
Containers # 5 & 6:
cucumber bush
cabbage
early carrots
I would also like to have a couple of beds for:
Bed # 1:
beans
peas
parsley
can I grow radichio (sp?) here?
garlic
onions?
late carrots
Bed # 2:
little pumpkins
I live on a very small lot, so my gardening takes the form of small garden beds and containers. I have chives and strawberries that always grow here, as well as some flowers.
In the past, I have grown parsley, tomatoes, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, and small pumpkins.

This year I am planning on trying to grow other things as well. Here is my plan, though I may have to change some things.
* Parsley
* Chamomile
* Lemon Balm
* Lavender
* Thyme
* Mint
* Fennel
* Tomatoes
* Zucchini
* Small Pumpkins
* Cucumbers
* Green Beans
* Peas
I also plan to add more flowers in containers, possibly hanging some of the hangers from the outside of the trailer and the shed.
Out back, I have a few bare spots on the ground next to my trailer where I would like to plant some flowers. I would also like some plants or flowers around my porch, a flower wreath on the door, and hangers on either side of the door. This will all brighten the back up nicely.
